Hello hello hello! Welcome to Historic Huffman – your place on the web for all sorts of information about the Huffman Historic District, its residents, and businesses just east of downtown Dayton, Ohio, USA.
We hope to present an honest view of the people and place that is Huffman. Some of us will post regularly to provide depth and detail to the events and topics that influence our little part of the world. We’ll also have images and tweets from neighbors so that you (and we) can see what we’ve been up to. Keep an eye on our event list, too. If you get caught reading about things that have already happened, you’ll have a way to avoid missing the next party, meeting, or community bulk trash pickup. Believe me, you don’t want to miss the bulk trash pickup.
And if you’re really curious, check out the Google maps street view tour. Just click on the map and walk down the street to take a look at our Victorian homes and maybe even catch a glimpse of us on the street.

I just wanted to stop in and say that I love the new site. I have been in Huffman for 11 years now and have been very happy. I don’t get to the meetings much, but do enjoy the neighborhood.
