Lousy picture of what will be a great paint job.

This has to be one of the best reasons to own an old Victorian. Painting an exterior is probably the most stressful and most rewarding form of maintenance performed on these old houses. Please forgive the poor picture quality. My phone camera doesn’t come close to doing the place justice. It’s going to look fantastic when the new paint job is complete. Do you know where this is? You won’t be able to recognize it on the map and streetview above for much longer. Maybe you should walk by and see it in person.

The painting is finished. Unfortunately, I don’t have a new photo. Somebody help me out here. Anyway, the boxed gutters and trim along the edge of the entire roof are a deep red now. The whole place has a shiny new look to it, too. Very nice.

We walked by this beauty last night. The new trim color really complements the color of the roof shingles. Sharp! This home is a planned venue for activities during the upcoming Haunted Huffman event, so everyone will get to enjoy it!
