The Huffman Community Garden work day last Saturday was a blast for all involved! We potted some herbs that made it through the winter, laid newspaper down around new beds as weed barriers, and filled new beds with compost. The kids that tagged along had a great time climbing on the mountain of compost, using their own wheelbarrows and shovels to help and playing tag amongst the beds. They even got a few wheelbarrow rides!

Join us next month, May 7 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. If you’re interested in your own bed, check out the previous post about the garden for information.
